Steering Angle
Methode Steering Angle sensors make use of a toolbox of sensor solutions including capacitive, optical, magnetic based and eddy current. The sensor is equipped to measure multi-rotation, as well as very fine movements of the steering wheel. In addition to angle, Methode also has the technology to add a torque sensor to the steering column in order to offer a fully specified solution custom to the application.
- Accurate measurement of rotational steering position
- Position and torque measurement possible
- Input to supplementary systems (ABS and vehicle stability control)
